How to participate? It’s easy! Read four Carnegie Medal winners from the 86 available and win a prize upon completion of a mini book review each.
If you read fifteen Carnegie winners before the summer, you will win a GRAND PRIZE!
Look out for the yellow stickers on the spines of the Collège library books and start reading today!
Kaia, Roman, Shreeya and Myla were jumping for joy upon receiving their certificates and their books for winning the Conquer the Classics competition. Even more so as they got to choose their book prizes. Congratulations to you all!
Two Lycée students; Lara and Skye, have been volunteering in the Anglophone Collège library since the start of the school year. They help to catalogue and cover all new books and keep the library looking spick and span. This goes to show that the love of books transcends schools! Thank you for your commitment and dedication!

What makes a book a classic?
A classic book is one that outlasts time….
…no matter when it was written, it will still have relevance today.
It will often teach us how to be better human beings, using language that is beautiful, effective and distinctive.
This year’s challenge is to travel around the world… in books! The advantage: a carbon footprint of zero and hundreds of hours of reading pleasure.
